Our trek starts from Nayapul, which is an hours attractive drive from Pokhara with some fabulous views of Annapurna (South) and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) en route . From Nayapul, a half an hours walk brings us to Birethanti, situated at the confluence of Modi and Bhurung rivers, here the route divides.We take the West trail towards Ghorepani, a trading village situated at an elevation of 2750 m., where there is a tremendous vantage point Poon. to view both the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himal. The views at sunrise from Poonhill are simply stunning. From Ghorepani, the trail leads East to the hamlet of Tadapani and on towards Chhomrong, from where we commence our journey into the Annapurna Sanctuary and onwards to Annapurna Base Camp. The journey to base camp follows the valley in between the huge ramparts of Himchuli & Machhapuchhre, eventually emerging into an awesome Amphitheater, where a labyrinth of mountains and Annapurna I tower almost vertically above us.

DAY 01: Meet and greet at airport and bus park. Transport to hotel.
07:00 pm: Dinner & over night in Pokhara. DAY 02: Pokhara - Tikhedhunga (1491m.)
07:30 am: Breakfast. 08:00 am: Drive to Nayapul (42km) (Approx. 1.30 hrs). through the village of Lumle and walk for 20 mins. to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town. The trail follows the main street of Birethanti, going through bamboo forests and past a large waterfall and swimming holes. The trail reaches Sudami after passing a field used by pony caravans. 12:30 pm: Lunch in Sudami. 13:30 pm: After lunch; climb steadily up the side of the valley , reaching Hile at 1495m near Tirekhedhunga. 15:30 pm: Arrive in Tirkhe Dhunga. 08:00 pm: Dinner in Tirkhe Dhunga and over night. DAY 03: Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2855m)
07:00 am: Breakfast. 08:00 am: From Tirkhedhunga the trail crosses a stream on a suspension bridge near the camp site of Tirkhedhunga. The trail ascends a steep stone staircase to the large Magar village of Ulleri at 2070m. Above the village the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields. There are magnificent walks through rhododendron and oak forests. The trail crosses two sparkling clear streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti. 12:30 pm: Lunch in Nagethanti. 13:30 pm: Trek to Ghorepani at 2850m. (Approx. 1 Hr). 19:00 pm: Dinner in Ghorepani and over night. DAY 04: Ghorepani - Poon hill - Tadapani (2680 Mtrs)
04:30 am: Wakeup call with tea/coffee. 05:00 am: Climb to Poon Hill. (3195m) (Approx. 1 Hr) for unobstructed views of sunrise over the high Himalayas. See the snow capped mountains peaks from the top of the hill. 08:00 am: Return to Tea house. 08:30 am: Breakfast. 09:30 am: The trek climbs south on a muddy path through deep forests. It finally emerges on a grassy knoll which offers good mountain views, including views of Machhapuchhare (not visible from Grohrepani pass). The trails follows a sometimes treacherous descent alongside a stream, which finally becomes a series of waterfalls flowing over large boulders. 12:30 pm: Lunch in Banthanti. 13:30 pm: From Banthanti, the trail follows the stream down to a bridge where it starts climbing, leaving the moist high mountain forests and entering fields of cane. It continues with slight undulation to Tadapani (2540 m) which offers a brief view of the mountains. 19:00 pm: Dinner and over night. DAY 05: Tadapani – Chomrong. (2105 Mtrs)
08:30 am: Breakfast. 09:00 am: The trail enters rhododendron and oak forestes and offers good views of snow capped Mountains along the way to Chhomrong. (Approx. 4:30 hrs). 12:30 pm: Lunch in Chhomrong. Chhomrong is a Gurung Village and has evolved into two sprate parts. It is the highest permanent settlement in the valley. There is a superb view of Annapurna South, which tower above the village. 19:00 pm: Dinner & and over night. DAY 06:: Chhomrung – Dovan (2650 Mtrs)
08:00 am: Breakfast. 09:00 am: Trek to Dovan (Apporx.5 Hrs). The trail descends on a stone staircase and crosses the Chhomrong khola. Climbing high above the Modi Khola on its west banks, the trails passes through forests of bamboo, rhododendron and oak. Climb further on a rocky trail and you will reach Sinuwa, 2250 m. The trail continues through rhododendrons forests to Kuldi. From Kuldi, the trails descends via a long steep stone staircase into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests. Enter Bamboo via a muddy trail. 13:00 pm: Lunch in Bamboo. 14:00 pm: From Bamboo the trail climbs steeply through stands of bamboo. 19:00 pm: Dinner in Dovan & Over night. DAY 07:: Dovan - Annapurna Base Camp (4130 Mtrs)
07:30 am: Breakfast 08:30 am: From Dovan the trail is muddy and high above the river, where thick stands of bamboo block the view of the rushing river and waterfall, then crosses a landslide and an avalanche track, to the Himalaya Hotel at 2900 m. 12:30 pm: Lunch at Machchapuchchre Base Camp. 19:00 pm: Dinner in Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) and over night. DAY 08: Annapurna Base Camp –Bamboo (2435 Mtrs)
05:30 am: wake up with tea/coffee and climb to spot where you can see the sunrise over the mountains. You will also visit near by ABC. The track remains on the west bank of the Modi, now flowing through a more open valley and eventually emerges into the Sanctuary. Straight ahead is the high lateral moraine. Return to the tea house. 07:30 am: Breakfast. 08:00 am: Return trek to Bamboo (Approx. 6 Hrs) 12:20 pm: Lunch in Himalayan Hotel. 13:30 pm: Trek to Bamboo. (Approx. 3 Hrs) 19:00 pm: Dinner in Bamboo and overnight. DAY 09: Bamboo- Jhinu (1500 Mtrs)
07:30 am: Breakfast. 08:30 am: From Bamboo descend on a long steep stone staircase through Bamboo and rhododendron forest to Kuldi, 2300 m. 12:30 pm: Lunch in Chhomrong. 19:00 pm: Dinner in Jhinu and over night. DAY 10: Jhinu - Tolka (1730 M)
07:30 am: Breakfast. 08:30 am: From Jhinu the trail meanders down hill to Hot Springs near a village of terraced fields. The trail becomes easier after the Hot Springs. 12:30 pm: Lunch in Landrung. 13:00 pm: Trek to tolka (Approx. 1:30 hrs). 19:00 pm: Dinner in Tolka and over night. DAY 11: Tolka – Dhampus & Back to Pokhara(915 M).
07:30 am: Breakfast. 08:30 am: Tolka is a small settlement at 1710 m, with several lodges along the trail. The trail climb through forests alive with birds, ferns and orchids to a huge side canyon of the Modi Khola. After crossing a stream on a suspension bridge at 1690 m, the trail climbs Bichok. Than it continues through forests to a clearing on the top of the hill at 2010 m. where there are good views of the mountains. 12:30 pm: Lunch in Deurali. 13:30 pm: From Deurali the trek is downhill to Dhampus at 1580 m.(Approx. 2:30 Hrs). The trail goes down through the Pothana Pass. At Dhampus, you will be rewarded with great views of the mountains that continue to improve as you ascend along the ridge. 16:30 pm: Arrive at Phedi & drive back to Pokhara.(Approx. 50 m) Free (unguided time) for shopping, boating on lake Fewa, Bicycle hire etc. 19:00 pm: Dinner and over night at hotel. 07:00 am: Breakfast. 08:00 am: Check out.
